Awaken to the Beauty, Love & Magic of this world, this time, this space. Bask in the golden glory of the sun, imagining your cells drinking in the light. Celebrate Life - the life within you, the life that runs through every sentient being, the life that breaks through the cement encrusted earth - a life that endures.

* The Guided Meditation this week is for our Earth, Gaia, Pachamama. Available for Earth lovers and Beauty, Love & Magic makers HERE.

Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. In the past few weeks i have so deeply enjoyed the luscious greens from our wet winter  season, the sweet little buds peeking at the sun, and the vibrant blooms covering the hillsides. We, alongside nature, are celebrating the miracle of rebirth.

Create within yourself a haven for surrender, an inner sanctum where you are free to move and live and breathe and speak and sing in any which way. Open to the Mystery of this embodied life. This Mystery is all around and within, inviting us into spaces that flicker with shadow and light, fire and ice, highs and lows. Herein lies the power to transform wounds, awaken latent powers, and discover true healing.

* The Guided Meditation this week is for Peace. Peace Above. Peace Below. Peace within. Peace without.

Spring…it beckons to the heart: Soften. Melt the cold shield of protection. Step from the dark cave of winter. Awaken to the light of love! Listen to the songs of dawn - “birdlight” - as the birds announce the rising of the sun. The Sun, The Sun, he comes again today! Oh, what joy! Listen to the birdsong at dusk, too as the sun sinks into the sea. Goodbye for now.

In this Virgo full moon, i feel very strongly the presence of Mother Mary, holy woman and protector of the innocent. Virgo is associated with the archetype of the virgin, and we can rethink “virgin” as belonging to oneself.

Truly, to hope in this day and age is an act of rebellion. (Parker Palmer and Courtney Martin speak to this and more in an On Being podcast with Krista Tippett - definitely worth a listen!) The cultivation of hope is not always pretty and pink. The process can be quite bleak at times. But through all the despair and heartbreak, may we not lose hope. May we not ever fully give up.
