Beltane: Bright Fire Alchemize Us

Beltane is the time of the Bright Fire, the gateway into Summer with heightened activity, long days and smoldering nights. The Beltane Season (Calendar: May 1 and Lunar: Full Moon in Scorpio) is nearly here, bringing with it the songs of youth awakening into the lover’s realm. We make space in our hearts, minds and bodies to remember these times of our youth - both achingly painful and beautiful.

As women, we open our hearts to the vigor and angst of maidenhood that are carried in our codes even now. What was forgotten? What was left behind? What was broken? What was burned? What was freed? What was revealed? What was blooming? What was bleeding? What was hoped and dreamed and dashed and picked up again?

The invitation is to open to all that fires you up, then to let that fire activate the healing power of life moving through you - in the most glorious ways. Re-member. Reawaken. Revitalize. Open your eyes to the gorgeous blossoming of the Earth. Open your ears to the hum of birds and bees. Open your innate power as a woman.

Now is the time for You. Now is the time for alchemy. Now is the time to heal the wounds of youth and to weave your magic into the world. Now is the time to stoke that wild tender power within. Now is the time to honor and respect all stages of becoming, discovering, transforming and awakening. Now is the time to be brought down to our knees in reverence, awe, and compassion. And now is the time to rise up in true confidence and grace.

The long winter of silence and separation is over - separation from your heart- body- mind- spirit- soul; separation from your beloved, separation from your children, your parents, your ancestors, your hopes, dreams, longings, passion, desire, power, strength. The fires of summer are burning, ready to alchemize it all -- to melt and re-form YOU into pure gold.

Are you ready? Ready to welcome yourself home to the soul flame of your heart?

With the vitality of youth, on Beltane eve leap over the fires into the green fields of Life, enchanted once more by the fullness of life. In that re-enchantment is an opportunity to integrate of all your gifts - where you are brought face to face with your true nature and most essential self - where you dance in a relationship of true wholeness - where you feel complete, enough, full to overflowing - where you EMBRACE yourself, your life, your soul, your destiny.

Beltane’s alchemy does not end with this golden awakening of your individual soul, for: “As above, so below; as within, so without; as the universe, so the soul.” It’s about you, us, All.

So, as you shine with greater generosity of Spirit aligned with Beltane’s bright fire, the LIGHT grows , nurturing growth, warming Mother Earth, joining in a deep celebration through all of Nature.
