72. Mystical Musing: So, This is Christmas

(inspired by Winter Solstice & Christmas 2017)

After three days of Winter Solstice, we celebrate the return of the light - the birth of a child-like spirit brightening the way ahead.

On this Christmas morning, like so many from my childhood, i awoke before dawn. Unlike Christmases past, i held a child in my arms…He sleeps with such innocence and trust, undisturbed by any worries or concerns (side note: Mama and Papa are so grateful that he sleeps so very well at night!).

I’m inspired to provide for him all that i can - to create a haven of peace, love, joy and safety where he will continue to thrive. I long for this haven to expand and embrace all of the children, so they can grow in right relationship with each other and this Earth home. I dream of a world where we all remember our wholeness and interconnectedness. I dream that this remembrance infuses our interactions with each other, bringing with it peace, compassion and understanding. I dream that our differences are celebrated as unique gifts and contributions to the beauty of this world. I dream a Dream of a great and abiding Love that flows unhindered. This is my Solstice Dream-seed.

What is yours? There is still time to plant the seeds, water them with your heart-full attention, and watch them grow under the waxing moon and sun. Welcome the gifts of all your good dreams coming true with Hope; Delight; Wonder; Peace; Joy; Love; & lyrics from John Lennon and Yoko Ono…

So this is Christmas and what have you done,
Another year over, a new one just begun.
And so this is Christmas, I hope you have fun,
The near and the dear ones, the old and the young.
A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
Let's hope it's a good one without any fear.
And so this is Christmas for weak and for strong,
The rich and the poor ones, the road is so long.
And so happy Christmas for black and for white,
For yellow and red ones let's stop all the fights.
A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
Let's hope it's a good one without any fear.

May all be well with you and yours,
Jennifer
